Color animates me, drips disperse me, oil grabs me and the gesture is tempted...
I am a Breton painter imbued with the diffuse colors of my childhood in Algerian ochres and the green-gray-blues of the moors and coasts of Cornouaille.
Now settled in the Nantes countryside after many years of pictorial research, overwhelmed by the painting of Zao Wou-Ki, I have put aside my forays into figurative arts, to explore abstraction and autonomous images that do not refer to nothing but themselves.
Throughout my life, I have assiduously attended art workshops, taken courses at the permanent university, shared workshops with established artists who accompanied me in my research and in my creation.
I feel color a lot and it is with the oil technique that I get closest to these colored vibrations; It is therefore first of all the color that inspires me, more than a particular subject; According to my reflection and my reveries, I create serene oils with fruity colors and ethereal forms, or tormented ones in opposing colors and active forms associating oil with collages, powders or binders.
I seek to create a space of emotions, a decentralized experience for the observer, resonances to access subtle feelings and visions in shapes and colorful universes.
