Discover the contemporary work of POP'S
POP'S, illustrator and designer
From my first steps in the Parisian suburbs, lulled by the sweet scents of my parents' and grandparents' workshop, artisan bakers and pastry chefs, I grew up in the heart of a world where hands shape and eyes meet. This warm and human setting nourished my curiosity, taught me to observe, to understand the world and to understand myself.
With a Bachelor's degree in product design, I am now continuing my creative adventure with a Master's degree in product and furniture design. For me, design is much more than just functionality: it is a narrative. Each object I design tells a story, a subtle intention, a soul. Being present at each stage of the creative process gives me an inestimable freedom, that of shaping the essence of my projects.
But above all, it is illustration that has always accompanied me, as if it were obvious. Since my childhood, my hands have always sought to translate my emotions into lines, into colors. Initially for my loved ones, my unique and personalized works have become invitations to enter my universe. Today, I have chosen to share this passion with a greater number of people, because each illustration I create is an open window onto a sensitivity, an emotion that I wish to transmit through my art.
My illustrations reflect moments in life and places that have left a deep mark on me. With each stroke, I transform these memories into works imbued with emotion, often tinged with a touch of humor. Whether they are made from photos, from my imagination or born from a collaboration with clients with very specific intentions, each of my creations tells a unique story.
My characters, for their part, are a part of me. They evolve in their own world, eyes closed, in search of dreams and escape, thus preserving their intimate and secret universe. They embody this desire to take refuge in the imagination while inviting those who watch them to do the same.
