Discover the contemporary work of Sylviane PETIT

Born in 1948 in Charente, figurative painter Sylviane Petit, affiliated to the "MAISON DES ARTISTES", appears in "la cote AKOUN 2000", referenced in DROUOT COTATIONS.Passioned by Art and Color since my early youth, I was inspired by strolling through the countryside with its old roads, its river, its poppies and sunflowers, its roosters and chicken, but also by my father in his cabinetmaker workshop, where I discovered the smell of wood and its different perfumes. It is an interesting material to paint, to explore in all of its softness and to draw out every single insignificant detail in order to show its beauty.After having explored many techniques (aquarel, pastel), my favourite one remains oil painting.
