Philippe Marissal, qualified abstract painter from the Tourcoing School of Fine Arts. National Diploma of Fine Arts in painting section in 1975.
He was winner of the Prouvost Foundation young painting prize in 1974.

He paints instinct, without a pre-established framework, and transmits his feelings of the moment on the canvas. For him, each painting is a unique adventure that “informs him about himself.”
He often uses the collage technique which allows him to assemble disparate elements and harmonize things from different universes.

And it is from the assembly of these various elements that poetry is born. Philippe Marissal tries to make the invisible visible.
His works invite you to travel into the imagination, they open up a field of freedom.
