Discover the contemporary work of Philippe SIMON
I practiced pencil drawing of still lifes for about ten years from 1980 to 1995
Then I moved on to acrylic painting for about 5 years.
I started self-taught in photography in 2010 mainly in architectural photography and more precisely in architectural detail.
I work only in black and white and in square format.
Today I work on digital collage based on my architectural photographs.
My digital collages come from my imagination and are an invitation to cross the invisible line that separates us from the real world of an imaginary universe where I no longer exist as a photographer, but where the image will only exist through your own gaze.
