PIERRE MAFFAIT

Born in Valencia in 1941. Independent photographer and photography teacher.

Apart from a few black and white images (from the 80s/90s) most of the works are more creative photos (from the 90s to 2012) where I transform the image with chalk, pastels or even dyes, inks.

Solo or collective exhibitions in more than 30 countries around the world.

Publications in various magazines and photo books (Denmark, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Spain etc.)

Artistic approach

Honorary Vice-President of the International Federation of Photographic Art and also of the Danish Photography Society. Master Photographer of the FIAP. Honorary Member of the French Federation of Photography, the Japan Photographic Society and others.
