Discover the contemporary work of GANDOLFO
Located near Rouen, Pierrick Gandolfo has been practicing sculpture for about fifteen years. He mainly works with wood, not hesitating to combine several species, thus taking advantage of the contrasts of their veins to develop his works. By preserving its warm properties, he seeks to (re)give wood graphics and modernity. His sculptures can also combine wood, stone and metal, allowing each material to bring its specificities to the service of his works.
Pierrick Gandolfo's work is based on refined lines, which, while remaining at the service of the materials, allow him to offer a figurative and refined perception of characters, animals or trees.
A member of the Salon des Artistes Normands, he has exhibited his works in various salons in the Region. He has notably received the Seine-Maritime Department Prize from the Salon des Indépendants in Rouen, the Jury Prize from the Hêtraie Sculpture Biennale and the Sculpture Prize from the Salon de Maromme. In 2024, two of his works were selected and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Français at the Grand Palais in Paris.
