I was introduced to ceramics by a Taiwanese master: Huan Tang Chiu. I then perfected another approach to ceramics in South Africa.
These two experiences allowed me to have a more artistic vision of ceramics.
Unfortunately, for many, ceramics is confused with pottery and is considered as an artistic craft. This narrow vision unfortunately leads to considering many ceramicists as craftsmen and not artists.
After having practiced for my pleasure, I decided to start my own business to make myself known.
For the moment I shine in Indre-et-Loire, but I hope to be able to make myself known elsewhere.

As you will have understood, I am very influenced by Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese and Korean ceramists.
This influence is found in my creations. My self-taught technique (I did not study) allowed me to experiment freely and discover innovative methods to shape and glaze my pieces.
I work with stoneware (smooth, chamotte), earthenware and porcelain, with a predilection for paper clay. I mainly fire at high temperatures.
Each of my pieces is unique and I don't like to remake them (unless ordered). Every year, I try to explore a different universe.
Finally, I really like this quote from Lao Tzu that I make my own: "Clay is shaped to make vases, but their use depends on the internal void."
