Born in 1964 in Endingen a/K, my artistic career began in 1990 in the advertising and graphics industry. Here I gained my first professional experience in design and drawing. After successfully completing my art studies, my love of art has accompanied me since the end of the 90s.
Through various study trips within Germany, I continued my education in workshops, seminars and painting events and with a wide variety of artists. I get inspiration for new motifs and techniques from my various foreign and study trips to Denmark, Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, Russia and the Ukraine.

Rasty Stone is a persistent and steadfast contemporary artist who does not want to be tied down to one style. His works show that he generally prefers a strong and bright palette. Rasty justifies this with the fact that colors can have a great influence on people's moods, which he wants the viewer to constantly feel.
His visual language is powerful and multi-layered. In addition to the brush, he uses various utensils to apply the colors, with which he experiments in a controlled manner. His bare hands are also often used. In this way, Rasty finally balances the colors in the right position, which happens directly on the canvas. The combination of different painting techniques is characteristic of his image experiments. Freed from the guidelines of the past, Rasty's pictures also reveal what the artist has always been concerned with: "controlled explosion of color and form."
Artistic approach:
I follow my intuition, my spontaneity, into my inner psyche, into my subconscious where there are neither preconceptions nor other judgments, where everything that comes can show itself and express itself.
I experience these moments as a deep and powerful connection with myself, as a "being one". with the entire cosmos.
This authentic self-expression, the magic of which is transferred to the viewer, can let him slip into his own subconscious and connect him with the dynamics of his inner world.
The extraordinary liveliness of forms / structures and colors creates magical worlds populated by peculiar beings and figures.
The often violent, emotional painting style exposes the unconscious mental structures and at the same time expresses their mystical form.
Painting is "more a consequence than an intention"; the picture becomes, so to speak, the "remnant of a ritual-painterly act"
