Discover the contemporary work of Razkin
At the age of fourteen I started teaching drawing classes at the School of Fine Arts in Pamplona with Maestro Salvador Beunza. At the age of seventeen I went to work in the large-format film poster workshop under Master Manolo Carreras as an apprentice. Later, at the age of twenty, I went to work in the workshop of the great painter Vicente Vila, with whom I learned lettering, drawing and painting large advertising posters for roads and highways. and also for facades as murals for different advertising brands such as Coca Cola, Pepsi, Copertone, etc. all hand painted.
With painting pictures I began to be interested in the twenty-five or I was thirty years old and attended the classes of Miguel Reche, a renowned painter where I learned to use oil paints, because I had only used Acrylics in my work, not oils. Later with Technique sessions and Talks with my friend and Grand Master Pascual de Cabo (recognized as one of the best Spanish painters of this century) I began to mold myself as a painter
IMIN-style figurative painter (intuitive impressionism) giving my works an accentuated color, almost always with a figure, using photography as a model. I paint with Oils and Acrylics, with a brush and a spatula, sometimes I use various materials such as marble dust, quartz and other mixed techniques accompanied by Latex. I also use the Airbrush. I finish my works with two layers of glossy transparent varnish
