My name is Richard BÉNISTI, I am 70 years old, I am an abstract painter, I create abstract works using my own technique. acrylic paint.

Painting really stood out to me. me around the 2000s, but I never got around to it. find the time to actually do it. Today I finally realize my passion for painting.

My choice was: on acrylic, sometimes with the addition of different mediums (sand, paste, cardboard, paper...), to create textures. I paint using brushes, rollers, knives, or other accessories depending on my desires.

I like to experiment with new textures and play with colors.

Abstract painting invites the viewer to explore; a journey, the destination of which he will choose.

But this artistic journey will take place abroad. through the imagination, the feelings, the deep self, both for the artist who creates the canvas and for the spectator who looks at it.

The abstract allows me to let go, to let my imagination run wild.

I let myself be guided, without having an idea at the start, or, on the contrary, the initial idea guides me towards a final destination that I do not know. I couldn't imagine.
