Discover the contemporary work of Rino

Born in 1981 in Rouen, my blaze is RINO, my background is atypical. I got started with graffiti in 1995 with spray paint and the discovery of the works of the Le Havre artist JACE. My first experiments consisted of bringing color to the walls of my village. Then, in 1998, I met ZEN, a graffiti artist from my high school. From then on, I became more interested in the graffiti movement, and I will consolidate my knowledge and my interest with a trip to New York. In the 2000s, I joined the Les Gobelins image school in Paris, but very quickly stopped my course. What I really liked was graffiti, radical and vandal. So I spent my nights in the Parisian suburbs leaving my traces on the RER, the trains and in public spaces. That same year, I discovered 3D painting thanks to the German artist DAIM and specialized in this field. Following this parenthesis on the margins, I integrated myself back into society, but continued to paint constantly in my studio, at home. In 2018, I returned to the practice of graffiti in the street and it was in 2020 that I discovered and joined my new family: the “Cache Misère” collective. Since then, I have continued my artistic practice in the Rouen metropolis. I remain specialized in 3D, experimenting with different media, pushing my creation and my passion ever further.
