Salvador De Batlle Teixidor, was born in Girona on April 26, 1953. From 1964 to 1968 he had his first experiences in drawing and watercolor in Valldemia (Mataró). In 1970 he attended to an oil painting course at the Figueras menestral casino taught by Diego Torrent. participated at the Figueras drawing fair. From 1971 to 1974 Technical drawing course at the Barcelona technical engineering school. During the years 1991,92 and 93 he attended the FITA art studio.
, Taught by Domenech Fita. He has participated in various quick painting competitions in Casa de la Selva, Vilavenut, Tossa de Mar, Anglès, Pals, San Antonio de Vilamajor… Obtaining awards in some of them, Nuria, Beget, San Antonio de Vilamajor, Pals… Collective exhibitions at the Girona House of Culture, La Artistica Girona, Roser Aiguaviva's basket, Camprodon 21st century gallery, San Joan las Fonts Fine Arts School, Androx Vigo Gallery, Bemarab Castellón gallery.

My creative process usually starts from an image, an idea, a movie... that inspires me. Sometimes I start to develop it in a sketch, other times directly on the canvas. Once the composition is created with its different elements (most of the time the animals are the protagonists) I search my photographic database for animals, flowers, plants, objects that I will use in my composition and then I move on to painting, currently in acrylic, finishing composing the image that I had initially imagined
