Säme was born in Brittany, France, in 1976. A graduate of the Institut Supérieur d'Art Appliqué in Rennes and holder of the National Diploma of Arts and Design, graphic design option, she has worked as an artistic director and graphic designer for over 20 years, in agencies and as a freelancer. Now based in the Paris region, she devotes herself fully to her lifelong passion: abstract painting, and more particularly abstract expressionism.
This movement allows her to explore and convey deep emotions and physical sensations through her works. Her paintings are distinguished by a strong contrast between colors, creating a unique visual dynamic. Sometimes her inspiration comes from a well-defined source, but it can also be born from a broader environment, permeating her consciousness and that of the viewer through the senses. Influenced by artists such as Rothko or Barnett Newman, she is inspired by the colorfield painting style. She always considers that personal and emotional experiences play an important role in the creative process, as well as in the viewer's gaze on her works.
