Artistic approach

"Reveal my inner vision of the moment with my sensitivity."

Sandra Clément is a photographic artist who plays with light effects and clarity. She likes what we can see in the shadows. When developing, she looks for deep blacks, bringing out the shadows just enough, going all the way to contrast while retaining detail. She has always remained attached to Black and White which she links to nature. nostalgia, suspended time, sensitivity and which invites the eye to focus on the subject.

Since the end of 2018, women have been the exclusive subject of his artistic portraits in the studio. Each of these women has their own particularities. A woman’s body is always truly fascinating. He has his marks of life. He likes the idea of removing these women from their environment, of isolating them on a black background to put them in the spotlight. She comes with her intentions, her artistic ideas and I have them in mind, but at the same time. At the end the portrait that will be chosen will be the one where; the light emanates from this woman and this portrait will very often be the play of a happy coincidence.
