Discover the contemporary work of Sanferan
My name is Hans Werner Schneider, artist name Sanferan.
I was born in 1956 in West Berlin, grew up in Cologne and lived there until 2023. Since April 2023 I have lived in Wolde-Japzow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. My life has always included art, especially painting, and I always find fulfillment in it.
These artistic and craft tasks are an integral part of my life. In my pictures I find opportunities to express feelings, processes and situations in life in my own special way. Since the resulting works also trigger something in the viewer and resonate, this confirms my creative ambitions and thus my artistic work.
I have already had success in several exhibitions and through sales to international art collectors, including through the renowned online gallery Singulart.
My works are created instinctively through imagination and intuition. I use color to distract and free the soul from everyday life with harmony but also disharmony. For me, intuition in the creative process also includes reflection on my life or life in general.
One of my ambitions is to delight people outside of everyday life, with something out of the ordinary.
„Because as Pablo Picasso said:
Art washes the dust of everyday life from the soul.”
The modern, abstract and expressive art of Sanferan
I have been creating modern art for many years. The intuitive and abstract use of colors, lines and shapes is my way of expressing everyday life. I absorb colors and shapes, events and conversations and allow them to express themselves personally and visually on canvas in an inner dialogue. Because of their expressiveness very particular and bright, I prefer to use high quality acrylic, pastel or watercolor paints. This emotional act on the canvas brings me great satisfaction and great freedom, which in turn brings me great satisfaction and freedom. his way also wants to transmit to the viewer a new freedom of expression. of recognition and immediate experience. Discover a small extract of my works here in my gallery.
I hope you enjoy it. H.W. Schneider / Sanferan
