Finally, being originally from Liège, I have dedicated some more figurative paintings to the history and folklore of the city of Liège (contemporary art).
Other exhibitions are planned for 2024 (Paris in July and Oupeye in September 2024). I invite you to follow my journey by consulting my site from time to time: www.saverinoartistepeintre.be , my Facebook page, or Instagram.
In the past, I have been rewarded with other artistic prizes.I will also mention the first prize at the International Painting Competition for Contemporary Artists R.Théwissen in 2014 at the Château d'Oupeye 2013 and the Audience Prize at Fléron (Fayen-Bois) in 2012 (theme on Venice)
As an artist, I try to surprise you at each of my exhibitions and my style is recognizable in most of my creations
A continuous pictorial research that aims to highlight the proposed subject through a play of contrast, light, and colors. To achieve this goal, I use a particular technique in which certain materials are combined to give an unexpected and original appearance.
Thus, Murano glass, fine recycled sand and other sometimes surprising materials make up the subject in which a subtle mixture of acrylic and oil are the main ingredients.
I generally work on several series that serve as themes for my different exhibitions. For example, you will find the MARE CRISTALLIS series (abstract) a universe where the seabed is my main source of inspiration, a very colorful painting rich in materials. Indeed, the addition of materials on the canvases remains the basis of my artistic identity.
The HUMANUS series: more timeless compositions, in which characters are often in enigmatic postures, in search of their destiny, sometimes in consultation, in search of their salvation. They sometimes seem to be frozen in space, sometimes to be in permanent levitation and often presented from behind. A relief, sometimes striking, is highlighted in certain compositions by a play of shadow and light. This way of proceeding, these postures make it possible to obtain a 3D effect.
Recent news (July 2024)- During the exhibition of Arts Sciences and Letters at Paris, I had the privilege of receiving an honorary diploma from Arts 19 - International Association of Painters and Sculptors. This will also allow me to exhibit in November at the Salon International - Mairie du 19e - Paris. I would like to thank the Thuillier Gallery and Mrs. Ghislaine Guerin for awarding me this new international award and this new prize.
The Academic Society for Encouragement and Education under the name of ARTS-SCIENCES-LETTRES (Paris) organizes each year a competition coupled with two exhibitions in Paris. I also participated in in July. The society received 226 artists' files and awards 7 medals each year (Gold, silver, bronze, pewter,...)
I have just received the letter informing me that I am the winner of the "PEWN MEDAL DIPLOMA". This prestigious award, the 4th of 226, is for me an honor and a great recognition of my work. A big annual party will take place on October 6, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in the Opera and Ravel rooms of the Inter Continental Hotel in Paris (9th arrondissement), which will be followed by a DINNER OF HONOR where I will receive my medal in great pomp. I am already looking forward to this day.
