1984 Birth of Bertrand, Faubourg Saint Antoine in Paris in the heart of the artisans' district. 1992 The painter is born, his first works are inspired by Chardin. 2000 Entry to the Boulle school where he learns the cabinetmaking trade, creation of a Louis XV style desk, a corner cupboard and a Louis XVI display case, then continues with a specialization in Crafts, Decorations Surface Treatments. Creation of his first " element”, lacquer panels and copper plate treated with acid. 2004 During a cultural exchange at the Hantverksgärden school (wall decoration school), Ransäter Sweden, Bertrand successfully learned the art of Trompe l’oeil and wall treatments. 2005 Thanks to his immersion in the Atelier des Cinq Sens, Bertrand adapted the techniques of the Boulle school to private interior design and luxury boutique design.2007 At 1,2,3 matères, Bertrand broadened his experience in surface treatments to modern materials: waxed concrete, stucco, polished concrete...2009 With his experience as a sales consultant at the Géant des Beaux Arts, Bertrand improved his knowledge of artistic products and developed his customer relations skills.2010 Bertrand mounted his first exhibition of sculptures and paintings at Orpea in Neuilly sur Seine2011 Exhibition at the association "Comme vous émo" on the occasion of the "Open House of the Artists' Studios of Montreuil". I moved to Joué-lès-Tours, Indre-et-Loire, a region with enormous cultural wealth. I am lucky enough to now have a 20m2 workshop allowing me to create more monumental works.

Born and raised in Paris, but with my family's roots in Touraine, I was raised in an atmosphere close to nature and rural landscapes that nourished my inspiration and shaped my artistic sensibility.
My project, Wild Souls, explores the emotions and behaviors of animals by highlighting their strength, their fragility, and their and their majesty.
Each sculpture I create is a tribute to the nature that surrounds us, a sincere and personal transcription of the deep bond between humans and animals.
My creations take shape from collected metal pieces that I shape, assemble, and weld. Beyond the ecological commitment essential to my work, the choice of materials and processes gives Each work has a raw and unique aesthetic, where each texture tells a unique story.
"My goal is to create a connection with the viewer, to awaken reflection on the beauty of wildlife and our relationship with it. I seek to create pieces that invite contemplation and wonder."
Wild Souls is a project that celebrates the beauty of the animal world while questioning our relationship with nature. Through my sculptures, I want to offer a poetic and committed vision, encouraging everyone to reflect on their impact on the planet and the need to preserve the wonders that surround us.
