Discover the contemporary work of Sébastien Lallemand
As a young teenager, native of the Arcachon Basin, I had not seen my father for a very long time. When we met again around the age of 15, he was working as an aircraft mechanic and preparer in a private airline company in Le Bourget. I didn't really know the world of aeronautics.
During the holidays, I accompanied him to his house. his work, I helped him as best I could by carefully watching his interventions on the planes. I was lucky enough to be able to board all the planes in the hangar, Falcons, Fokkers, Gulfstream IVs or sometimes ATRs which were on the tarmac. At that time, there was even an Awacs doing maintenance in the neighboring hangar. I also remember this Concorde that I saw take off! So many memories!
This is how the aviation bug hit me. and I developed a passion for civil aviation. Quickly, I learned how to do this. recognize any plane on the tarmac, and my father even introduced me to it. à distinguish the trails in the sky. Taken away through this passion, I obtained my Aeronautical Initiation Certificate (BIA), immersing myself even more deeply in this fascinating universe.
In 2011, I met Philippe, a colleague who quickly became a friend. As we shared our stories, we discovered an unexpected connection: our fathers had worked together. together in the army, one as a pilot, the other as an aircraft mechanic.
We started à attended various air meetings together, and, for the occasion, I equipped myself with of a camera. This is where it is. that I caught the photography virus. Photographing planes was no longer enough for me, I started to take pictures. in landscape photography. Today, in parallel with my work as a systems and network administrator, I share my photos and sell paintings of the landscapes that I have captured.
My passion for nature also led me to write a book on Polynesia, an illustrated travelogue. which, I hope, will make you want to discover these paradise islands.
I have to heart to highlight the beauties of nature.
