Artistic approach

Céline Gauthier, artist and plant designer, develops an artistic and sensitive approach at the crossroads of ecology, creation and spirituality.

Her career is rooted in training in applied arts and spatial design, marked by a specialization in eco-design and social design. Passionate about biomimicry and environmental issues, she has chosen to place plants at the center of her creations, reflecting them as an essential vector of social and transgenerational ties.

A committed artist, Céline has participated in numerous artistic residencies, including that of Studio Verrewinkel, and has received several distinctions, notably at the Forum Design 369 (Process edition). Her works have been exhibited in prestigious settings such as the Next Festival, the Please Do Touch exhibition, 100 Artists and Designers, and Wild at La Condition Publique in Roubaix. Her artistic approach has also been highlighted by publications such as Casa Stili and Étapes Magazine .

Selected for the Braderie de l'Art in 2022 and 2024, she promotes her innovative approach to upcycling, combining creativity and ecological commitment. Through her projects, Céline creates eco-responsible installations using recycled materials and integrating biodegradability into her reflections.

Her work is distinguished by a participatory and inclusive dimension. In medical, social or educational structures, she leads workshops where audiences, whether young, adult or senior, are invited to open up to their creativity, reconnect with nature and explore their own interiority. Close to art therapy, her approach aims to make each project a space for sharing, reflection and reconnection with the living.

Through her work, Céline Gauthier explores the deep interconnection between humans, nature, ecology, climate and spirituality. These pillars form the foundation of her artistic approach, where Each project becomes an opportunity to question our place in the living. Through her works, she conveys messages of hope, reconnection with nature, and collective commitment to preserve our environment.

Her eco-responsible creations, often made from recycled or biodegradable materials, embody a reflection on natural cycles and the harmonious cohabitation between man and his ecosystem.

Working with the public

Céline excels in the art of co-creation thanks to fun and educational tools that she designs to measure, such as the Sens-vegetable program. She uses icebreakers and games to help participants overcome their blocks or fears when it comes to creativity. These methods involve active and extensive participation, making each project accessible to all.

During her workshops, she creates a safe space where each participant can express themselves freely. She combats the "blank page syndrome" by providing a range of tools, supports and inspirations:

  • Selection of plants adapted to the tastes and desires of the participants.
  • Practical activities such as sowing or collective planting, accompanied by personalized advice.
  • Sharing of knowledge on the maintenance of plants and their benefits.

These workshops allow a reconnection with the living and stimulate the creativity of the participants, as evidenced by their feedback:

  • Participant:“I like it because it makes me think… » (feedback from a patient with cognitive difficulties).
  • Supervisor:« The Sensi-vegetal workshops allowed patients to put the person at the center and take them out of their position as a patient. The methodology, which is aligned with a participatory, non-competitive and free approach, encouraged the creativity of the participants. »
