Discover the contemporary work of Séverine Fabre Forey

Born in 1972, Séverine Fabre Forey lives today in Paris. Paris after 12 years spent on the Iberian Peninsula (Madrid, Barcelona, Porto). In 2014, our artist, then based in Paris, Barcelona travels to Porto for the weekend to meet friends from Madrid. It was there, at the Serralves Museum, that she discovered Raymond Hains during a short-lived exhibition. A little critical, at first glance, of the artist’s approach, one of her friends challenged her to create a collage with her own hands. The way she got into the game and since that day has only thought about it. à that!

Séverine then undertakes some research on collage and the different collage artists, she then discovers Mimo Rotella, Jacques Villeglé, …or even Pierre François Grimaldi.
