Shvngz is an artist of Congolese origin, passionate about music since his childhood. À At the age of eleven, he made his debut with the team of the famous MC Solaar, “ The Black Rose Corporation ». Animated through the desire to share his love for music and his universe with the public, he begins to make yourself known by performing as opening acts for Mokobe, DJ Abdel, Cassidy, and Lil Jon in Switzerland, under the Omega Prod label.
In 2010, he released his first EP, « Bomayé », under the pseudonym of the time, Jessy Shung Lee, with the Time Club label, managed by by DJ Mathematic. Recognized by several artists beyond borders, he participated a few years later in the FK Festival, in Cameroon, where he shares the stage with Jovi and Reniss. This event opens new doors for him, and Shvngz begins to grow. make a name for himself in Central Africa. Following; Following these different performances, he joined forces with producer Kay-Zy Jay and formed with him their independent label, The Barners Records.
Thanks to; its visibility and his growing ambition, Shvngz broadens his horizons and multiplies appearances abroad. television and the radio. It can be found in particular on 7 TV, Trace TV, Oklm Radio, as well as à Swiss Radio and Television (RTS). In 2017 and 2018, he collaborated with renowned personalities such as Jacky Brown from the Neg Marrons group, Mink's, Locko, and Tata Osca.
Among his collaborations, we note his remix of a classic piece by Congolese artist Innoss B, « Ozo Beta Mabe », in which the latter mentions Shvngz. In 2019, he is working on a regular publication project of « freestyles » of one minute on Instagram, where he offers remixes of internationally known titles, accompanied by clips showing his working process with Kay-Zy Jay. This project aims to increase visibility of Shvngz before the release of his next project entitled; “ 7 days in the salon ».
In 2020, he signed with Colligence Records and released the project « Exordium », with the first clip « Je Te Bloque”, in collaboration with the artist Poison Mobutu. From 2020 to 2022, Shvngz defends the project “ Exordium » by producing several shows and participating in various projects such as those of FiraStar and Ewing Sima.
From 2022 to 2023, Shvngz returns to Kinshasa to prepare his new project « Passing through Kin » and works with artists such as Bill Clinton, Samarino, Gaz Fabilouss, MC RedBul, Prince d’Angola, and MC Azas.
