Artistic approach

I believe that I became an artist to make visible the fleeting moments when I build the universe of my inner world. Coming from a family of travelers who come from  different continents, who had to leave their roots, I undoubtedly felt the need to to leave my mark on paper or canvas to try to define the contours; of my heritage  and communicate with those who  will feel a moment of complicity with  this universe sometimes filled with hope, gentleness, openness; or sadness and worry, a nomadic universe that lets life slip by and settle in with its multiple facets. I have always been interested in very attracted by the sea, an attraction undoubtedly built by the epic story of my mother who met her. my father on the boat that took him across the Mediterranean to escape from prison. the war, after his departure from Poland under bombing and his arrival in Poland. Marseilles. His hope for freedom and happiness  m’gave birth to Algiers lulled by the sound of the waves from the first days of my existence.

In our time where the fears of each of us focus on peace, trying to understand the murderous madness, and the dangers that threaten our planet, forgetting the benefits that nature brings us, through its beauty, its power of regeneration  and the help it gives us to regain our serenity. , I continue more than ever to try myself to find meaning again in life. life thanks to nature by showing its vitality and its power of seduction and reassurance to our worried souls. I am looking to find a way to transcribe all this life that surrounds us and the poetry that emerges from it in my current engravings!

Using etching and aquatint to reproduce the diversity of shapes and subjects and carborundum to express the strength of its vitality.
