Discover the contemporary work of STEX (dessins)
A plastic sculptor, born in the Netherlands, Alex Stalenberg learned sculpture at the age of 12 in elementary school. Since then, he has continued to refine his artistic expression. He has created numerous sculptures, drawings, frescoes and installations in France and abroad. He has been part of artist movements in Paris, New York and Berlin.
Since 1993, he has devoted himself more actively to stone sculpture. A child of the "COBRA" movement and influenced by the Primitive Arts, he crystallizes his reflections on human behavior in his work. On stone, he is currently working on the "Multi-Faces" aspect where the history of sculpture unfolds over 360° and where sometimes the piece is positioned on several axes.
Many sculptures and drawings have entered private collections in France and abroad.
