Discover the contemporary work of Stéphie’Graphie
Born under the starry sky of Libourne (33) in 1967, I was, in my early years, a discreet soul, almost erased, like a leaf carried by the wind. Introverted, shy, and often enveloped in a deep silence, I found refuge in kingdoms that I drew with my own hands. There, no one could judge me, lock me in a box or dictate who I was. My path was creation, a breath of escape that connected me to a larger world, where imagination was queen. Sport also offered me an outlet, a vital impulse to anchor myself in reality.
In 2009, like a butterfly leaving its chrysalis, I took a leap into the unknown and founded my studio. I became an airbrush painter, an alchemist of colors and materials, learning to tame this subtle art to sublimate all media. My clientele, made up of professionals and individuals, pushed me to constantly explore new territories. This is how one of my signatures was born: the temporary tattoo with the airbrush, a fleeting magic that enchants moments. In 2018, this passion led me to the sets of TF1, in the program Bienvenue aux mariés, where my creations made eyes shine.
My art knows no boundaries. From my brushes and airbrushes were born works on metal, portraits of women where Nature becomes a witness and accomplice. Metal, too, tells a story: recycled boiler hoods, cut out, then varnished in a setting of light. But my real odyssey began with window mannequins, life-size sculptures that I transformed into Guardians of forgotten worlds.
It all started with an innocuous ad on Le Bon Coin. There, I discovered a seated mannequin, abandoned, but whose soul called to me. It was love at first sight. She became FAIRY, the first in a collection that has continued to grow ever since. Today, there are 16 of them, each carrying a fragment of the universe, an echo of Woman and Nature united in the same creative breath.
For a long time, my creations remained hidden in the shadow of my studio, waiting for the right moment to blossom. Like Nature herself, I let time do its work. In 2020, I took a step forward: my first exhibition, at the Art3f fair in Toulouse, was a real delight. The amazed looks and words of encouragement were a light on my path. My mannequins found their place in galleries, notably at ARTOPHAGE, in Vaucluse in Pernes-les-Fontaines, where their aura captivated visitors.
Today, my heart is set ablaze by the idea of new creations, new worlds to explore. Each work, whether it is born on metal, on an ephemeral human body, or in the elegant curves of a mannequin, tells a story. A story where woman and Nature, eternal allies, dance together under the stars.
A new collection to come:
"The messengers of the green dream"
I am Stéphie’Graphie, alchemist of colors, guardian of dreams and sculptor of a universe where the marvelous rubs shoulders with reality.
Most of my work comes to life under the wing of my trusty airbrush, a true alchemy instrument, which I harmoniously combine with other techniques. Markers, polymer clay, paste and relief paint join this creative dance, adding depth and texture to my works. I like to see my creations evolve, like a tree that spreads its branches according to the seasons. This incessant quest for novelty pushes me to explore, experiment and integrate new techniques, to give to each piece a unique soul.
My universe is intimately linked to Nature and Woman, these two inseparable forces that vibrate at the heart of my art. On my mannequins, two words often resonate like mantras: “Respect” and “Love”, values that transcend eras and are inscribed in every detail. Each arabesque, each floral or animal motif, each burst of light tells a story, that of a harmony to preserve.
I am Stéphie’Graphie, Airbrush Painter, and each creation is an ode to the beauty of the world around us.
