« La lecture de mes toiles ne se fait jamais de façon directe. Je reste attaché à une expression personnelle où l’on doit trouver des sensations, des apparitions qui en font l’interprétation de chacun.
Chaque toile a son histoire. De la jeunesse à la vieillesse, de la violence à la sagesse, la vie est marquée de moments forts. Mon travail implique ces moments forts où la toile ne cherche pas toujours à caresser l’œil. Certaines sont faites pour déranger, pour traduire des états sombres de l’esprit. »
