Oriental dancer, painter and poet, I was born in Paris. Beirut and I arrived in France with my mother in 1983 in Paris. at the age of 8.
When I was younger, I studied foreign languages, theater and music. I lived in dance for 17 years. When my uncle died, I inherited the estate. from his easel, and this is how, as a self-taught artist, I was introduced to painting. painting.
My influences are multiple and heterogeneous. The fact of having moved and lived in several countries inspires me a lot; these distant horizons are sometimes found in my paintings. Dreamlike, mysterious and dramatic universes are at the center of my creation. These imaginations are for me a moment of extraction from reality.
Music is also a predominant tool during my work sessions, like with the voice of Lisa Gerrard or that of Dhafer Youssef, and their timeless chants.
A few years ago I added a new aspect to my painting. Almost by chance I discovered that, probably due to the abstract way in which I arrange materials and colors, barely visible shapes are revealed when the lighting varies while browsing the color circle. I have since started à adapt my painting so as to amplify this effect. My goal is always to create a world of illusion with impromptu animations, the fruit of dying and emerging marriages between colors and lights.
