Born in 1964, self-taught, I have worked as a professional visual painter since 2013.
My workshop, « L’Angle du13», open to the public, is located in the heart of the city. in the historic town center of Aurillac. This was for me, after having worked on 25 years in the banking industry, a total life change.
This responds to; the need for to express myself in complete freedom, a need to withdraw from a system in which I no longer felt adequate and a choice to exercise on a daily basis my passion for the arts dating from my adolescence. /p>
In 2011, I started by creating furniture and handmade objects. starting from reused cardboard, then evolving towards more abstract forms in sculpture, tondo or bas-relief, bringing a more instinctive approach to the work. his work.
Thus, painting, sculpture (Modeling/assembly) in cardboard and/or paper are at the heart of my creative areas.

Since 2013, my work has revolved around various artistic fields: Painting, sculpture and design are at the heart of my creative fields.
My paintings combine letting go, observation, opinionatedness. The very present spontaneous gestures are complemented by work on composition and colors, always in search of harmony and balance.
My inspirations are often closely linked to human relationships, to my questioning of the place of man in our society, and his relationship with nature.
Thus my work with cardboard and paper is naturally part of a process of upcycling.
I want to magnify these materials, exploit all their facets by varying my assembly and finishing techniques. A juggling game is then established with the duality of life. of the material: its fragility and its robustness, its opacity and its transparency. This is how the forms created take on different aspects, most often associating my imagination.
Giving new life to the material, the fragility extract strength from it, so for me it is a way of representing a form of resilience that keeps me committed to my life. heart.
