Discover the contemporary work of Sylvie Pinon

I am a self-taught amateur painter. I have my studio at home in Gurgy, a small village in Yonne (89), and it is open to the public at certain times. I have always painted and loved this activity of drawing, colors, materials. I have been painting more regularly since 2015. I am registered as a painter with a N° siret. I participate in several exhibitions during the year, either solo or with my association "les 4 arts" in Auxerre (89). and then Christmas markets and shops-galleries.

I explore diversity in subjects, techniques, materials, formats, supports. My first approach remains acrylic on canvas, with a brush, paintbrush, knife, or other means; and also watercolors. I love creating textured backgrounds with paste. I always try to improve myself, to learn more and more and the tutorials on the Net are very useful to me. Art and especially painting is an easily practiced activity these days and it becomes very difficult to stand out among all these many emerging talents; so, I search, I imagine, my head "bubbles", often to find an originality or a technique.
