Creation, whether pictorial or literary, very quickly became the common thread of my existence. It corresponds to the pleasure of creating a world in which everyone's personal universe will draw new sources of fulfillment. I think it was during my two-year stay there. Tahiti (I was 13), where this need to create took root. in me. Beauty of the island, its sunsets, the bright colors of the landscape and the works of Gauguin have a lot to do with it. The universal theme of travel inspires me. I like to visit, discover places that are unknown to me and capture with my camera and then my brushes a moment that touched me like a child playing with her dog, a woman walking in the countryside. New York in an evening dress very early in the morning…
My style has varied; over the years. I created At the start of my artistic career, I did a lot of portraits. They were deliberately distorted to highlight a predominant feature of the person sketched. Then I became interested in surrealism and anthropomorphic portraits, mainly portraits of cats. Hemingway and Huxley believed that one must observe cats to paint men. This is probably why I have a loving passion for these felines.
