Shaping bodies and expressions between your fingers
Born in 1954, Gérard Taillandier's child's gaze very early on flew over matter, fire, metals, in the workshops of his father and grandfather where the fires of the forge burned his pupils.
The aptitude for dreaming, the observation of reality transcribed by drawing guides Gérard Taillandier, from the age of 15, towards the places where metals are recovered to assemble them into mysterious animals... A young student eager for curiosity, his scientific career did not prevent him from constantly modeling clay. He worked on drawing and painting, then went to meet the melting of metals where the increasingly precise choice fell on bronze.
