Biography of Teleșco Valentin
Born in Moldova on April 25, 1995, I grew up with my grandfather, a talented painter, who passed on to me the love of art. My father passed away when I was only ten years old, and my grandfather was a central figure in my artistic and spiritual formation. From a very young age, I was surrounded by his works, and my passion for painting was transmitted to me by him. I received an artistic education at I graduated from the School of Fine Arts, then I studied at the College of Fine Arts „Alexandru Plămădeală”, where I deepened the techniques of painting, specializing as a teacher of plastic arts.
Despite my love for art, I felt a strong desire for adventure and self-improvement, which is why I joined the Moldovan army, doing my military service in Moldova. Then, in 2016, I joined the Foreign Legion. I could say that the experiences I had in the military gave me a broader vision of the world, complementing my thinking and inspiring my works.
Although my military career brought me personal challenges and satisfactions, I never gave up my passion for painting. Continuing to explore my artistic side, I began to participate in solo and group exhibitions, where I gave life to abstract visions, working in oil on canvas, using both the brush and the palette knife. palette.
My artistic vision is deeply influenced by existentialist philosophy and the thinking of great philosophers such as Schopenhauer and Aristotle. I am constantly concerned with questions about life, reality and existence, and these reflections are found in every work I create.
Schopenhauer said: "Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional." Or: "The soul of man is deep and impenetrable, and pain is the only thing that allows us to understand it." These ideas guide my artistic and philosophical thinking, and art for me is not only a form of expression, but a way to better understand the self and the world around me.
Currently, I continue my career within the Foreign Legion, while also being dedicated to artistic exploration. Soon, I will have a new exhibition, and my works will be accompanied by small explanatory texts that reflect my philosophy and my inner emotions.
"My artistic approach is deeply rooted in my life experiences and philosophical reflections. Inspired by thinkers such as Schopenhauer and Aristotle, I create abstract works that explore human emotions and the search for meaning. Working primarily in oil on canvas, I use the brush and palette knife to lay down raw and delicate textures, translating the duality of existence. My art aims to touch the soul and awaken an inner reflection in those who contemplate it." "Through my paintings, I want to invite viewers to a deep introspection, to connect to their own essence and to question their place in the world."
