Born in Romania, I began taking life drawing classes as a teenager.

After studying literature and earning a master's degree in linguistics, I began working as a translator, but I have always pursued an artistic career alongside it. I practice etching (drypoint), as well as oil painting and Indian ink drawing.

My works are marked by this hesitation... the result of the wanderings of gesture, thought, and memory seeking to be embodied...
Engraving (I use a drypoint, which is similar to the stroke of a pen - my preferred tool for my drawings) leaves room for error, the possibility of making a mistake, which leads to something unstable and shaky. This is the case with the etheric bodies that I voluntarily give to the beings I represent. They don't really have a body, no attachment to the earth, no ties... they float, tempted by the aspiration to reach the imperceptible. The gaze, always present, also wanders, until the moment of the unexpected encounter with the viewer's gaze.
Techniques: drypoint, collagraphy, embossing.
