Certified painter and side i-CAC.
Professor of physical education at retired, and since then a professional visual artist, lover of the visual arts; practiced since a young age, self-taught, my originality lies in my way of creating my paintings using techniques that are out of the ordinary.
I like to say that I create fullness by creating emptiness or I create emptiness to represent fullness, in short: I produce the “full through emptiness” and my brush melts the steel leaving a line describing my subject rather in a figurative style. Each of my creations, due to the techniques used, require many hours, from initial inspiration to finalization. During production, my work is done under protection and fireproof equipment.
If indeed I tried my hand at from pencil to pastel, from watercolor to watercolor oil,… my way of expressing myself currently replaces the usual products and materials with resins and ceramic paints applied to all types of supports, and, pencils or brushes are often now a torch electric whose arc develops from 18000 to 40,000 degrees using the principle of the non-digital plasma cutter on steel sheet a few millimeters thick.
I take pleasure in combine metals and glass which, through its transparency, allows for my subjects to cause a shadow thus bringing a perspective.
