I was born in 1947 in Podravina, Croatia. From the beginning, I was interested in technology. à I studied painting and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb in 1971. Later, I attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb. the graphics department of the Rietveld Academy in Brussels. Amsterdam.
Until’à Currently, I have had 155 exhibitions in Austria, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Croatia, France and the United States.
Since 1985, I have lived and worked in Paris.

Artistic approach

Trnski « glue » dream and reality on the faces of his models, while almost scientifically exploring the surface of the canvas.
Rational and irrational, past and contemporary, expressively wild in writing and photographically realistic, poetic like smoke and fundamental like earth - these are the main characteristics of Velimir's painting Trnski.
