Discover the contemporary work of Véronique Rigaudie
After a professional life as a pianist, Véronique changed her life to train first in ceramics and then, after an encounter with the work of Soulages, in painting. Watercolor, pastel and finally her favorite medium acrylic constitute her artistic evolution. Her works are abstract, organic, sometimes inspired by nature but never figurative. The material as well as the subtlety of the colors are determining factors in her creations. Acrylic, oil pastel, charcoal, sand, so many elements that inspire her.
Add relief while thinking about a composition, add black and white, never pure, a touch of ultramarine, Prussian blue, work with a knife, a spatula, an estèque, add sand to the binder to create the material.
then it is the eye that determines the degree of completion.
