The work of Violaine Desportes aims to transcend our daily lives. An artist of reality, his works are anchored in his immediate environment. But, With the help of tiny shifts (removal of the background, change of scale, viewing angle, etc.), the artist invites the viewer to allow themselves some time to observe. Something in the very body of the drawing arouses curiosity, invites you to explore. marks a pause and proposes a reflection that lies beyond to see.
