Discover the contemporary work of Youlia Bouslenko
Born in a country that no longer exists, I am the daughter of an artist and the mother of an artist.
After studying art history at Moscow University, I graduated with a degree in the theme of the influence of Henri Matisse on 20th century painting, then I worked in several art galleries in Paris.
Inspired by Soviet architecture (Stalin's skyscrapers) and Russian pre-Christian art, I turned to color and abstract forms to express the passion of my mind.
I consider that the role of the artist is to be at the forefront of human thought and to improve existence with the message of love, hope and harmony.
I create my works in acrylic paint on canvas, in felt-tip pens, tempera and watercolor on paper and in digital collage on a metal support. I make custom works on special orders and for interior decoration projects.
