I am Yvan Hucher and I have been creating since I was 4 years old - so I have been experimenting with creation for 50 years. I started with photography and installations in my bedroom. Then as a teenager I experimented with painting as an autodidact. In my thirties I started exhibiting in contemporary art galleries in Paris such as the Galerie L'Udine then the Entresol and the Cour Carrée gallery next to the Pompidou Museum.

My creation is both archaic and analytical. Every day I discover new things that inspire me and that I transform into works of art. I use different techniques for real painting, pigments, oil, collages. I also do digital painting, for this I have a studio equipped with 8 software programs and recently I have been doing light painting. In addition, I do digital photography that I repaint digitally or in acrylic and performances with Gérard Pape and his wife who are contemporary musicians and the approach is that I paint when they make sounds and they are inspired by my painting to make sounds.
