Discover the contemporary work of Jacques YVERGNIAUX
Né In 1958, Jacques Yvergniaux began photography in the 1980s, as a press correspondent for the daily Ouest-France for the canton of Lamballe (22). This experience allowed him to sharpen his humanist outlook. He practiced black and white film photography for around twenty years, before taking the plunge into digital in 2004. He produces and produces exhibitions commissioned by public institutions. (Cities, Departmental Councils, media libraries) and participates in group exhibitions such as the French Artists’ Salon (Paris, Grand Palais, bronze medal in 2012), the “Pluie d’images” festival; à Brest, European Festival of Nude Photography in Paris Arles …
He regularly collaborates with the Andia agency and publishes his photos in the press (Le Nouvel Observateur, Jeune Afrique, Le Figaro, Le magazine du Monde, JDD, etc.)
He also ensured the function of exhibition curator for group exhibitions with a dozen photographers.

He has just published the book “Intimate Africas” comprising around fifteen photographic chronicles published by Corridor éléphant
