José ZANNI, native of Corsica and from a family of artists, is entirely self-taught.

My assertive approach to art inevitably involves abstraction, which offers priority to art. à the material and the capture of light by it at the same time every moment. The work thus remains alive, in perpetual movement in the gaze and the mental field which is created between the creation by the artist and the eye and especially the mind of the viewer.

As for the color blue, it comes just from what surrounds me and from this sea, intercontinental, in the middle of the land,  Omnipresent in our lives, blue is synonymous with escape and a symbol of fidelity, wisdom, justice and faith. For the Egyptians, blue was a lucky color linked to life. immortality and at the truth. If they have been the first to discovering the blue mineral pigments, azurite, Indigo, a plant pigment, was already present in the world. widely used since Antiquity.
