The Star

This painting speaks of an internal explosion and emergency. An explosion is the end of something and the obligatory beginning of something else. A before/after where a new hope can be born because what existed is no longer, dissolved in this light. It's time for a new start. Misty in its first hours and which finally dissipates, to reveal possible new horizons. It is then the birth of an ephemeral duality, short, rapid, intense. This is how it takes shape: two lines. A line of fissure, of inner collapse, of end, of transitory death. And another line which aims to be a trajectory, a path towards hope, a rebirth. A passage from shadow to light. The indescribable is transformed, I take my brush and very quickly I smell. I feel the movement taking precedence over EVERYTHING. And suddenly, the star and the hope it carries are there... A light.
