Jean-Claude Lannes...... In a few words

            Plastic painter Audois born in 1972, living in two steps from CARCASSONNE, grandson of a MONTMARTROIS painter, René PEYRE through whom the desire to paint arrived, quite naturally.

100% self-taught, from the age of 10, painting was for many years a simple hobby to do like “Papi”. Then passion wins, the desire to share his work and compare his achievements to others. a more informed look takes over.

In full maturity, after long years of painting in the shadows, he joined the ranks of the Maison des Artistes in 2012.....

The exhibitions come one after the other, very quickly! The selections for trade shows too... more and more important, more and more demanding, more and more renowned!

           Distinctions and prizes have rewarded his work since 2013...

           He tries his hand from time to time for the pleasure and the taste of the challenge at speed-painting, in particular by creating paintings, in a few minutes, and hellip;. in music:

            Coming from the Figurative movement, his painting changes, evolves, flirts with other techniques and other approaches.

           Forbidding confinement in a well-defined category, Jean-Claude LANNES paints instinct, the desire, to inspiration, feeling, playing on large gaps between figurative and abstract, between dark or very bright colors, depending on the mood...in a style well suited to your taste. him, the common thread.
