In this work, Stéphane Cantin talks to us about the collective aspect of team sports through handball. The emphasis is placed on gestures repeated at length by each person but which can only be truly effective if they put themselves at the service of a collective where everyone must respect the other and their place with humility.
The Olympic history of handball began in 1936. At that time, the game was played outdoors and with 11 players against 11. It was only from 1972 that this sport was played indoors and with 7 against 7. The Women's Olympic tournament will appear in 1976 in Montreal.
