Description
During the Paris Olympic Games, rugby will be played with 7 players. The game will therefore be faster and more intense. The matches will last fourteen minutes. This rugby, which is extremely demanding, requires more sprints than in 15-a-side rugby and there are more attempts. It is therefore these sprint phases that the artist decided to represent to introduce this sport.
In 1900, 1908, 1920 and 1924, a men's fifteen-a-side tournament was on the Olympic program. Then this sport left the Olympic program and only reappeared in 2016 in Rio with a 7-player formula and two tournaments, one for women and one for men.
