Description
This painting, revisiting Edward Hopper's Night Windows, takes us into a dreamlike universe where reality and fantasy meet under the veil of night. Through three illuminated windows, a fragment of life appears: a woman from the 1950s, seen from behind, gracefully leans over to pick up an object, suspended in an intimate, almost secret moment.
In the center, Winnie the Pooh floats gently with a red balloon, as if he had crossed the barrier of dreams to enter this nocturnal scene. The muted tones of mauve and deep shadows envelop the image in a gentle melancholy, while the light from the windows becomes a beacon in the darkness, revealing moments of solitude and tenderness. The Ball of Dreams thus invites the viewer to contemplate the ephemeral, in a silent dance between reality and imagination.
