Description

The theme of the "inhabited" being is recurrent in my work. This human profile resembles a scan of the profile and the top of the shoulders of a human being. The whole is however inhabited by various, imaginary beings and various greenery. The central being could correspond to the trunk of a tree, whose roots would descend along the spinal column. A "little poetic writing" follows as an explanation: "Here he wonders Here he wonders: Who am I on this dark background? Who is this haunted man, who could see him? Is he an inhabited Being or an inhabitant of the (h)ombre? Under his skull, in his breast, which is entwined by a black trunk flows without respite the (s)ap with pink reflections... In intimate communion, linked like ivy a multicoloured crowd inhabits me in all things. In balance, wandering, lovers, in prayer... I am alone, I am them, I am all at once."
