Éric Doisy is a French contemporary artist whose style lies somewhere between abstraction and free figuration, with a strong influence of Art Brut and Expressionism. His work is often characterized by:
• Primitive and spontaneous forms, sometimes close to graffiti or children's art.
• A very free, almost automatic gesture, with an attraction to the instantaneous and raw emotion.
• Bright, contrasting colors, often applied in flat tints or in bold strokes.

• A significant texture, often achieved by layering materials or direct, intuitive application.
