A secluded atelier at the end of an impasse off the Place de la Bastille in Paris.Everyday the capricious muses beckon the painter there.To reveal them. One sketch is followed by another, each one drawn on separate leaves of tracing paper. He gathers together and then muddles up the little transparent sheets, juxtaposing them, turning them over, placing them on top of each other, moving them around again until soon, by chance, he finds “the” scene that will serve as the architecture of the painting to come.Virginie LUC
