Magda Hoibian is a self-taught artist, who paints in a free gesture, using starting from the elements of life and sensations and emotions, transforming his feelings of the world, of current events, into semi-abstract compositions with always a more figurative addition in curved forms linked to ; his way of living, seeing the world and painting. She followed training at contemporary art at Marseille in the 90s with Anny Lazarus and after obtaining a degree in Educational Sciences she freely followed the degree courses in Art History at the University of Marseille. Aix-Marseille. But she is a self-taught artist, always in research.

His artistic work is a navigation between abstraction and free figuration, a deeply organic painting. Inspired by Nature, by the unconscious, she who thinks a lot, extracts herself from pure thought to sublimate it in an abstraction by letting go where she is. the intelligence of the hands and the instinct of composition will take control. She fills sketchbooks and sketches. but paints directly on his canvases, in complete freedom. gesture. She is always researching, reading a lot, interested in other artists and exhibitions. Rounding is almost a biological gesture: We start from the shoulder, the arm then the hand follows in an amplitude or a tight gesture. but in curves.
His painting reflects his sensations, without doubt, in free, ample gestures, and details worked in particular on textures and meaningful shapes such as abstract vulvas or crescent moons. Femininity and feminism, ecology have meaning and find a place in his compositions.

She works on her canvases in a very bodily way, as in a body with a face. body, the backgrounds are very worked, layer after layer, and the shapes then come to take place, then its added details finalize the composition.

She also paints watercolor either on paper or on books that she works on. paint entirely for exhibitions, and for artists' notebooks on white notebooks or scores of old music. His art is at the service of sensation, we speak of hyper-sensitivity; and kinesthetics.
